For those who know me not, I will be MIA for about 3 weeks as I will be on a floating tin can in the Mediterranean sea. So until I return I shall wish all a fattening Thanksgiving and safe Black Friday.

Well this weekend was fun, fun, fun!!!

Well, first off I went to the Dethklok/Mastodon concert at the Hammerstein last Friday, all I can say is that was BRUTAL. Since the original plan was to get to the line early, as it was open seating, and I damn well was gonna get a good seat. Unfortunately, the traffic on the BQE was beyond retarded, a normal 30 min bus ride turned into 1 1/2 ride. Luckily  tod_hollykim   and dragonzfire718  got there before me and saved me a spot. THANX GUYS!!! Because of you two, I was able to get front row, dead center on the balcony, best seats in the house!

Last week, I went to a Corn Maze at Stony Hills Farms in Chester, New Jersey with my Sis and friends. Afterwards we ate at a Brewery for some dinner. Here are some pics of the Trip.

And finally Me and Sis participated in the NYC Halloween Parade. We managed to get into the segment where the YesMen SurvivaBalls were marching. Sis was dressed as a Geisha and myself as a Lady of Inari Kitsune. the Parade was fun, until it started raining. We got pulled aside by a NY1 flim crew to get interviewed but we cut out 'cause the rain started to get worse. Unfortually, the rain wouldn't let up so we left the parade at about 3/4 finished and ducked inside a deli eatery for some dinner. Afterwards we wandered around Union Square, and went to a Party at Butter in Laffeytte Street.

Edit: I forgot to mention, that I also did some First Aid volunteer work with the Red Cross for the NYC Marathon on Sunday at 5:30 in the morning. Needless to say once I got home I crashed.

--The game's plot revolves around "forgotten" Disney characters. Obscure characters from long-forgotten cartoons and rides have been cast into a dark world of broken-down machinery and very bitter attitudes.

--The main villain is Disney's first-ever cartoon hero, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. (I think I remember him, *racks brain cells*, Damn, I'm old) Now a nobody, he has rallied the residents of the dark world and is out for revenge against the mouse that has replaced him as Disney's icon character. I wonder who else among the forgotten will be in the game?

--Oswald unleashes the Phantom Blot (Remember him?), a monster that invades the Disney universe and begins to disassemble it by using black ink and making the colors of the world run together (this is apparent in the melting imagery in the artwork) EDIT:It is interesting the The Phantom Blot, who aways tried to Blot out Mickey, now will Blot out the Disney Universe, rather ambitious of him. But a very logical expansion of his power him being black ink and all.

 --Mickey Mouse will save the Disney world by fixing the Blot's undoings, using a set of tools like paintbrushes, paint thinner, erasers and pencils to restore the artwork of his universe, ala Okami and with similar mechanics as well.

--The game is all about artwork and exploring. Also, Mickey will be getting a radical makeover, which is why nobody's seen his face yet. A source tells Eurogamer that "he's far more retro than you've seen him for years." EDIT:Seriously, how more Retro can the Mouse get? We have seen him at his most Retro as Steamboat!Mickey in Kingdom Hearts II, it would be hard to top that in the Retro race. Maybe the Mouse will be as his old-school color version or marked somehow by Blotys' influence, hmmmm?

--Also it's possible it will not be exclusive to the Wii.  EDIT: I stand corrected, GameInformer has stated that the Game will be exclusive to the Wii. I am now sad ;_;

Expanded:Nice to know that Disney has learned from Kingdom Hearts that it is a good idea to appeal to the older Disney fans via nostalgia and offer more mature games based in their universe. While it is most likely that the game will never go above a Teen rating, the Apocalypse Now scenario plus the possible society breakdown (for current Disney Characters both Hero's and Villains it would mean "it's the end of the world! what do I have to lose now?") it entails lends a mature view of things. Imagine some Disney Villains (or Hero's) taking advantage of the situation or deciding to help the destruction along.  The Cyber!Steampunk look that the concept art showcased remind me of stories of BioApocolyse!Now survivors replacing affected body parts with machinery, or something.

Guess we will have to wait till more info on the plot is released.

Overall, the game appears to be quite, well,  EPIC!

Saw Inglorious Bastards and District 9 over the weekend. A+ on both of them.

Bastards wasn't as bloody as other movies from the same director, but it is a hilarious romp into an alternate history where the Nazi's (including Hitler and the entire High Command)get their visit from Vengeance; all nice and bloody like. Made me all warm and fuzzy inside. *^_^*

District 9.... All I can say is fooking Brilliant!!! Seriously, there is nothing I can say to properly describe the EPIC WIN that is District 9.

If you have yet to see either these movies, go see them. NOW!!!
